has been practicing in Family Medicine since 1988. He attended both Auckland and Otago Universities completing medical degrees in 1986 He completed postgraduate training in community paediatrics in 1990. He had postgraduate research training at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore and has practiced clinical medicine in Australia, Vanuatu and New Zealand. Dr Heidi Muller

Dr Jefferies began work at Marsden Medical in 2008.  She is a NZ graduate with a broad medical background.  Heidi is married with children and completed her basic vocational General practice training in 2004 . more

Dr Arna Letica

Dr Letica is currently working at the practice as a registrar. Arna gained her primary medical degrees at Otago University and is completing her training in family medicine

Nursing Staff

Ms Mei-Ling Tsai RGON:

Mei-Ling is a Taiwanese and NZ trained nursing graduate who has a wide range of experience in community nursing at a charge nurse level.  She has strong nursing skills in general Pediatric, Obstetrics and elder care.

She joined the nursing team in May 2008.   She has one teenage son.

Ms Helena Ashcroft RGON has worked intermittently at the surgery as PN / clinical manager co-ordinating and inducting registered nurses

Reception and office management staff

Mrs Irene Douglas:

Irene has been our medical receptionist and medical typist for many years.  She is very familar with the practice routines and keeps us all in line.

Mrs Lian Tjoe (pron "Choo") Choe :

Tjoe began as receptionist/administrator in May 2008.  Born in Indonesia and in NZ for her secondary school education and University training at Otago University she qualified and practiced as a dentist before devoting herself fulltime to her family.  She is active with voluntary community work  and assists with her husband's business.  We are pleased to welcome her to the practice.

Mrs Anna Laurenson:

Anna is our accounts and payroll manager.
