Registered Nurse- Half time job share

We are looking for a motivated registered nurse to join our clinical team of three part-time family doctors and registrar at Marsden Medical Practice. The position is for 21 hours per week. The successful applicant would be working alongside an experienced registered nurse, general practitioners and reception staff.

The position is a job share with existing registered nurse with flexibility and expectation to increase hours up to 38 hours for short periods throughout the year by mutual negotiation.  Full orientation, training in the medical software and hands on guidance is offered by existing nursing staff in this position.

We would like someone who has a committement to a job in primary care and a desire and energy to develop the role of practice nursing within a quality general medical practice. The successful applicant would be expected to have some experience in clinical triage and past experience in general practice would be desireable although not essential. 

The remuneration is based on experience and will be based on the recently negotiated MECA contract between the NZMA and the NZNO but is in the range of $46,000-$54,000 FTE with generous conditions.

Mt Eden is an attractive central Auckland suburb and the practice has a very stable base of patients . Preference will be given to NZ nursing graduates.
