Men's Health

Men's preventative health check (the "well man visit") is accomplished in two visits.

In the first visit we are essentially gathering information about you, and the health of your relatives.  Our nurses will collect simple information (blood pressure, height, weight, and some basic measure of respiratory function) during your medical examination you will have a general skin check, cardiorespiratory examination (check out your heart and lungs) and examinations dependent on individual risk.

You may require certain investigations (usually a blood test, urine test - these can be taken at the surgery)

At your second visit we are able to feed back information - i.e we do more of the talking - after we have received your results.  There may be a further medical examination at this visit dependent on your age and individual risk.
