· Dr Lello has been practicing in Family Medicine since 1988. He attended both Auckland and Otago Universities completing medical degrees in 1986. He had postgraduate training at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore and spent several years as a teaching and research fellow in the Departments of Paediatrics and General Practice at the University of Auckland. He gained Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners in 1998 and has practiced clinical medicine in Australia, Vanuatu and New Zealand.

He has been the principal of Marsden Medical since 1994.

He has postgraduate qualifications in community paediatrics, and general practice and special interests in mens health, screening and preventative care. He holds a senior lectureship in General Practice at the University of Auckland and examines in General Practice for the Medical Council of New Zealand. He performs independent research for a number of agencies and government organisations.

He is married with three children.
